Nakhon ratchasima: "Teng" and a caravan of citizens are campaigning in Nakhon Ratchasima, urging the public to help communicate goodwill to everyone through the 'February 8th, Vote for Change' campaign. They are asking for a complete transformation of Nakhon Ratchasima into an orange-colored constituency, expanding the number of constituencies from 3 to 16 throughout the province, and changing the country to provide citizens with better access to a better quality of life.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Nattapong Ruangpanyawut, Prime Minister candidate, leader of the People's Party, and candidate for both constituency and party-list MPs, held a rally at Save One Market in Nakhon Ratchasima Province during the People's Party's southern Isaan campaign caravan, "Khom Faek". Mr. Nattapong said that before taking the stage at this rally, he had the opportunity to visit Prathai District and met many people who came to give him encouragement, shaking his hand and offering him hope and support. Many were moved to tears and said they loved this party very much. He believes that many people in the Save One market feel the same way. Why do we share this love for this party? Because in the past, we have all loved our country and our people. Our meaning of "love for the nation" is "love for the people."
Over the past eight years, he believes that everyone, including himself and all his fellow party members, is proud of the journey they have undertaken together. The People's Party has transformed the political system in the country, moving away from a patronage system to a political party that belongs to the people, welcoming all individuals regardless of their family name or financial status.
Throughout these eight years, despite being in opposition, the People's Party has worked to transform outdated laws and make significant changes, such as increasing transparency in the Social Security Fund budget. This is the change they have collaboratively created.
Mr. Nattapong urged everyone to vote on February 8th with the mindset of "Vote for Change," pushing for the transformation of Nakhon Ratchasima from 3 constituencies to 16 constituencies. He emphasized the importance of practicing a new kind of politics, engaging people of all generations and backgrounds to focus on the politics of hope, change, and the benefit of the majority.
He further stated the need for a people's government post-February 8th, one that transcends political affiliations and focuses on equality and a good quality of life for all citizens. The People's Party envisions a Thailand where everyone, regardless of their socio-economic background, has equal opportunities.
Mr. Nattapong concluded by promising, as the party leader, to serve the people with humility once in government service, ensuring all decisions and policies benefit the majority. He vowed to resist any attempts to revert Thailand to a state of inequality and pledged to continue fighting for a better quality of life for all citizens.
