Bangkok: The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) recently held the “BTFP Showcase 2025,” an event dedicated to showcasing future technologies and the theme “Passing on the Power, Sending Funds to Create Good Things.” The showcase aimed to present the successful outcomes of various projects funded by the Broadcasting, Television and Telecommunications Research and Development Fund for Public Interest (BTFP). Clinical Professor Dr. Saran Boonbaichaipruk, Chairman of the NBTC and Chairman of the Fund’s Executive Board, presided over the event.
According to Thai News Agency, the event highlighted 8 notable technology and research projects that received funding, addressing a wide range of dimensions. Additionally, the NBTC booth offered guidance on how to request support. The showcase also featured a variety of stage activities, including a presentation titled “The creative power of the people behind the scenes” by a new generation of directors and actors.
The event further included a seminar on “Human Resource Development and the Production of Quality International Program Content,” conducted by the Creative Economy Agency (Public Organization) and the Policy and Planning Division, Research and Development Fund Office, NBTC. Non – Chanon Santinatornkul also shared insights and visions on “movie entertainment industry trends,” contributing to the breadth of discussions.
The BTFP Showcase 2025 serves as a vital platform that underscores NBTC’s commitment to fostering and supporting the sustainable development of Thailand’s broadcasting, television, and telecommunications sectors.
