Hong kong: NIA (National Innovation Agency) takes 10 Thai startups to Hong Kong to participate in the Asian technology forums Jumpstarter and InnoEx 2026. The National Innovation Agency (NIA) is pushing Thai startups towards international markets under the Scale Up to Global 2026 project. Ten promising Thai startups have been selected to participate in activities expanding their markets to Hong Kong, one of Asia's technology and innovation hubs. This aims to create opportunities for business growth and connect them with international investors and partners. The ten selected Thai startups are: Botnoi Group, MeGenius Company Limited, SABLE, 3DS Interactive Co.,Ltd., Wang: Data Market, Riffai, Heal and Soul Technology, Neramitfoodtech Co.,Ltd., Tech Care System, and VTK Inno Group Co., Ltd.
According to Thai News Agency, prior to their departure, the 10 startup teams participated in a workshop to prepare for the Hong Kong market. This workshop aimed to provide them with an understanding of the startup ecosystem, business opportunities, and regional expansion strategies. They received knowledge from experts at leading organizations including InvestHK, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund, and the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP). During the workshop, the startup entrepreneurs also learned strategies for entering international markets, presenting their businesses on an international stage, and received lessons from Mr. Woraphot Chosen, Founder and CEO of Chosen Digital, a successful Thai startup that has expanded into Hong Kong. Following this preparation, the 10 Thai startup teams will participate in two major Asian technology forums: Jumpstarter 2026, a platform bringing together entrepreneurs, investors, and technology leaders fro m across Asia, and InnoEx 2026, an international innovation and technology exhibition providing a platform for technologies from around the world to showcase their potential.
Furthermore, Thai startups will participate in a Soft Landing Program in Hong Kong, conducted in collaboration with the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP), to support company registration, learn about the local innovation ecosystem, and build business networks in Hong Kong. Participation in this program will provide Thai startups with support in various areas, including guidance on entering the Hong Kong market, connecting with investors and business partners, meeting leading technology organizations, and exploring opportunities for collaboration in regional markets. This trip reflects the potential of Thai startups to bring the country's technology and innovation to the global stage, creating new opportunities for growth in international markets, and potentially being another important step in propelling Thai startups towards becoming global startups in the future.
