No MPs Register on 11th Day as 377 Have Already Reported

Bangkok: After 11 days, 377 MPs have reported to the parliament.

According to Thai News Agency, the Secretariat of the House of Representatives opened registration for the 11th day for members of the 27th House of Representatives, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. However, not a single MP registered today, even though Mr. Peerapan Salirathavipak, a party-list MP and leader of the Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party, had previously indicated he would register, but did not specify a time. By 4:30 PM, he had still not arrived. This brings the total number of MPs who have registered to 377.

Regarding the MPs who have not yet reported, this includes 119 MPs from the People's Party, who have informed the media that they will report on Monday, March 9th, at 10:00 AM. This also includes Mr. Isra Sunthornwat, a list MP and deputy leader of the Democrat Party, who will report on March 9th at 10:00 AM as well.

As for Dr. Warong Dechgitvigrom, a party-list MP and leader of the Thai Bhakdi Party, he will report in on March 10th at 10:00 AM.

It has been reported that the opening ceremony of the parliamentary session will be held on March 14th at 5:00 PM. However, the opening of the House of Representatives session to elect the Speaker of the House will depend on further royal decrees regarding the exact date.
