The fact-finding committee has summarized the repor t to the Director of Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, concluding that from the second semester of 2020 to the second semester of 2023, the school did not pay the basic necessities for poor students to the students who received the allocation, claiming that the budget was used to pay for the students' field trips and to purchase clothes and other items. However, the parents of the students gave consistent statements that they were not aware that their children received such funds and were not aware that the school used the funds to pay for the students' field trips. Therefore, the fact-finding committee has proposed that the school director perform his official duties in a manner that does not comply with the forms, procedures, and methods prescribed by law. There is reasonable ground to believe that he has performed or neglected his duties in an unlawful manner, causing damage to the students who received the basic necessities for poor students. Therefore, it is proposed that a serious dis ciplinary investigation be conducted. Therefore, Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 appointed a serious disciplinary investigation committee on October 17, 2024, with the Deputy Director of Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 as the chairman, the Director of Financial and Asset Management Group, and the Director of Legal and Litigation Group as committee members and secretaries. At the same time, an order was issued to suspend the said school director and appoint the Director of Nong Kham Sombun School, Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, to act as the acting director of the said school in order to ensure smooth and continuous operations of the school from October 17, 2024 onwards until the investigation is completed and the results will be reported to the Office of the Basic Education Commission. 'From this incident, the OBEC has not been indifferent and will closely monitor the situation. We have urged the area to investigate the facts with fairness to all parties equally and expedite the investigation results as soon as possible. We have also urged all schools to strictly follow the regulations with transparency, straightforwardness, and verifiability. If the public or parents encounter inappropriate behavior of the same nature, they can report the incident to the MOE hotline at 1579 at any time or notify the OBEC Happiness and Safety Management Center at 0 2123 8789 to investigate the facts and provide further assistance,' said the OBEC Deputy Secretary-General.
