Bangkok: Overwhelming demand for the 'Thai Help Thai Plus' benefits has resulted in only 11 million slots remaining, as the system expands to accommodate 700,000 transactions per minute. The Krungthai Care page of Krungthai Bank announced an urgent clarification after the "Paotang" application system experienced lag earlier in the morning when a surge of users attempted to access benefits under the "Thai Chuay Thai Plus (60/40)" project.

According to Thai News Agency, Krungthai Bank has swiftly acted to enhance its system's bandwidth, allowing it to handle over 700,000 transactions per second, restoring normal operations. Remarkably, within the first 23 minutes of registration, 10 million people successfully enrolled.

As per the latest data available on www.thaihelpthaiplus.th, nearly two hours post the commencement of registration, there are still 11,356,587 entitlements up for grabs. Interested individuals can register for the project through the Paotang application by selecting the "Thai Chuay Thai Plus (60/40)" project banner. Registration is open from May 25th to May 29th, 2026, between 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM daily, or until all allocated slots are filled.
