According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra visited Mr. Thaksin Shinawatra at Klong Prem Prison, where a family visitation day was organized. She shared a photo on Instagram featuring her brother Mr. Panthongtae Shinawatra, her sister Ms. Pinthongtha Shinawatra Kunakornwong, and Mr. Pitak Suksawat, her brother’s husband. The visit allowed the family to meet, hug, and share meals without the barrier of phone conversations through glass.

The caption accompanying the photo reflected on the nostalgic experience of walking hand in hand with her father through a small market set up by fellow prisoners. The market featured food and art made by the inmates, and Paethongtarn mentioned supporting several shops. She fondly recalled her father’s love for fresh markets, where he would choose ingredients for Sunday meals with the family.
