Bangkok: Anutin Charnvirakul, the Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, announced his plans to visit Hat Yai tomorrow morning after presiding over a meeting with the National Security Council. This decision follows his engagement with the Flood Emergency Operations Center (FOCOC) at the Phakdi Bodin Building.
According to Thai News Agency, Anutin was questioned by reporters about the current flood situation in Hat Yai, located in Songkhla Province, and whether there had been any improvements. In response, Anutin confirmed his travel plans, stating, “Tomorrow morning (November 28th).”
The meeting at the FOCOC aimed to address the ongoing challenges posed by the floods and to coordinate relief efforts. Anutin’s visit to Hat Yai is expected to emphasize the government’s commitment to managing the crisis and supporting affected communities.
