He responded jokingly to the speculation by asking, "Are you going to fire me? Are you going to fire me? Don't you want me at Government House anymore?"

According to Thai News Agency, Paradorn stated that he is capable of handling all ministerial and legislative positions, but chose not to elaborate on the rumors of his potential appointment as Speaker of the House.
