In addition to this spot, there are many other spots nearby that the navy has opened for the public to watch, such as the Navy Auditorium and the Royal Navy Club. They have set up stands for the public to come and watch on the dress rehearsal. It was found that almost all of the people were waiting to watch. Many people came from other provinces, such as this family from Samut Prakan Province. They said that they intended to come and watch on the dress rehearsal because on the actual day, they might not have the chance to sit and watch up close like this. Most importantly, they wanted to cheer on their son, who was one of the rowers. They brought binoculars from home, intending to capture the atmosphere, both through photos and memories, as much as possible. – Thai News Agency
