Ang thong: "Pharadon" has announced that Phoeng Pheng Subdistrict will soon see the implementation of comprehensive flood prevention measures.

According to Thai News Agency, the announcement was made by Mr. Paradorn Prisnanantakul, a Bhumjaithai Party candidate for Member of Parliament in Ang Thong Province. He addressed the long-standing flooding issues that have been affecting the residents of Ang Thong, disrupting their lives and livelihoods. He acknowledged the persistence of the problem, but highlighted that current flooding is restricted to only a few villages within the Phong Pheng Subdistrict.

Mr. Prisnanantakul expressed optimism about the future, predicting that within a few years, the entire subdistrict will benefit from complete flood protection. This initiative is expected to significantly improve the quality of life for the residents and mitigate the economic challenges posed by recurrent flooding.
