Bangkok: Pheu Thai Party has officially launched Phumipat Hosakul as their candidate for the Bangkok Constituency 10 seat, expressing confidence in his ability to serve the residents of Don Mueang with the same dedication as his father.
According to Thai News Agency, the announcement was made by several prominent members of the Pheu Thai Party, including Sorawong Thienthong, Deputy Leader of the party, and Nattawut Saikua, former advisor to the Prime Minister. They emphasized that Phumipat’s policies and ideologies align with those of the Pheu Thai Party, and they believe he will continue to work diligently for the people.
Phumipat Hosakul, who has lived in Don Mueang for 26 years, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to represent the area. He acknowledged the influence of his father, Karun Hosakul, a former Bangkok MP for Don Mueang, and assured the public of his commitment to addressing their concerns. He emphasized the tangible benefits of Pheu Thai’s policies, which he believes align with his own work philosophy.
Sorawong Thienthong highlighted the party’s readiness for the upcoming elections in Bangkok, noting that despite winning only one MP seat in the last election, Pheu Thai remains committed to serving the people. He urged support for Phumipat, emphasizing the candidate’s alignment with the party’s vision and dedication to public service.

Nattawut Saikua spoke about the country’s political landscape, emphasizing the need for collective decision-making and criticizing the current minority government. He underscored the historical struggles of the Pheu Thai Party and their commitment to democracy, urging support for the party’s no-confidence motion and potential leadership.
The Pheu Thai Party also announced plans to launch an election campaign for Sayan Chanmuenpuek, who is running for the House of Representatives in Constituency 9. The event is set to take place at the Subhan Hall Building in Don Mueang District.
