According to Thai News Agency, the People's Party's eight-lane campaign convoy continued its final day of campaigning for the second day. The southern Isaan region, represented by the "Khom Faek" faction, led by Mr. Viroj Lakkhanaadisorn, Deputy Leader of the People's Party, campaigned in the morning at the municipal fresh markets in Buayai and Khokhong districts of Nakhon Ratchasima province to introduce the People's Party's parliamentary candidates. Mr. Viroj gave a short speech addressing issues that the People's Party MPs have continuously pursued to protect the interests of the people, including the use of the Social Security Fund budget, scammers, corruption within the police force, and high electricity prices. He urged the public not to lose hope and not to believe that Thailand has come this far, as change and a better Thailand are still possible. He encouraged voters to cast both ballots for the People's Party on February 8th to form a people's government and build a future Thailand, working with a m ission and goals to benefit the majority.
Mr. Viroj's speech attracted attention, with people gathering to listen and continuously offering flowers, fruit, and drinks as encouragement. This evening, Mr. Viroj and Mr. Natthapong Ruangpanyawut, leader of the People's Party and prime ministerial candidate, will hold a large rally at Save One Market in Mueang District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province.
As the "Binladong" caravan from the lower southern region, led by Ms. Chutima Kachapan, a member of the People's Party's executive committee, and Mr. Rondon Panjor, a candidate for the party-list MP position, arrived in Krabi province, they invited the public to listen to a rally in the evening at Thara Park in Mueang Krabi district. Key party leaders who will be speaking at the rally include Mr. Veerayuth Kanchuchat, the People's Party's third-ranked prime ministerial candidate, and Ms. Phakamon Nunanan, the party's deputy spokesperson.
The northeastern campaign team, led by Mr. Piyabutr Saengkanokkul, a campaign assistant for the People's Party, traveled to Mukdahan province in the morning to campaign for Mr. Nakorn Chariphan, the party's candidate for Member of Parliament in Mukdahan Constituency 2, number 5. They urged the public to vote for the People's Party (with both ballots) to help Mr. Nakorn get another term as an MP and to vote for Mr. Nattapong as Prime Minister, giving the People's Party, a new group of people, a chance to govern the country. In the evening, there will be a large rally at the market in front of the Sakon Nakhon Bus Terminal, led by Mr. Piyabutr and Mr. Pita Limjaroenrat.
