Bangkok: Piyarat, the incoming Deputy Minister of Agriculture, orchestrated a discreet visit to the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives by dispatching her team to assess the office space ahead of her official appointment. Piyarat herself remained in her car during the inspection.
According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Piyarat Tiyapairat, a Member of Parliament for Chiang Rai from the Pheu Thai Party and the prospective Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, arrived with her delegation at the ministry. The group requested to examine all ministerial offices to assist in planning the office layout for the three Pheu Thai ministers.
Piyarat delegated her personal secretary and team to conduct the survey and coordinate with the Minister's office staff. The staff provided a tour of the office areas and shared detailed information about each space, while Piyarat stayed in her private vehicle.
The inspection lasted approximately 25-30 minutes before the delegation departed the ministry premises.
