Bangkok: “Prasert” has expressed confidence that the government will complete its full term, emphasizing Prime Minister Paethongtarn’s respect for working people.
According to Thai News Agency, Prasert Jantarawongthong, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Economy and Society, addressed concerns regarding rumors that the Bhumjaithai Party would not support the fiscal year 2026 budget bill. He clarified that the party has denied these claims, affirming their commitment to advancing government policies under the leadership of Anutin Charnvirakul, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
Prasert stated that the rumors were intended to sow discord within the government. He reassured that his experience in cabinet meetings showed no signs of conflict among ministers, and all parties remain committed to supporting Prime Minister Paethongtarn Shinawatra. He expressed confidence in the government’s ability to address current crises and achieve its objectives, highlighting the Prime Minister’s respect for her colleagues as a key factor in ensuring smooth governance.
Prasert urged the public to disregard misleading rumors, reiterating that the government is focused on resolving crises and fostering national development. He assured that, despite attempts to create doubt, the government will continue to work towards its set goals.
