Prime Minister Announces Date for First Cabinet Meeting

Bangkok: The Prime Minister revealed that the first cabinet meeting will be held this Tuesday after the completion of the policy statement. Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul addressed the circulating rumors about the timing of the Cabinet meeting, initially speculated to be on April 11th. He clarified that the meeting is scheduled for the Tuesday following the finalization of the policy statement.

According to Thai News Agency, Charnvirakul mentioned that if the policy statement is completed by April 10th, the Cabinet will be able to function fully and address any urgent matters at that time. He elaborated that should any issues arise concerning legislation or other announcements, a Cabinet meeting can be arranged using Article 8, which necessitates a one-third majority. He emphasized that the process is straightforward and should not be a cause for concern.
