According to Thai News Agency, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul addressed the media following a meeting focused on improving the monitoring of suspicious financial transactions through enhanced financial data linkage. When asked about potential political motivations behind the investigation into shady funds, the Prime Minister firmly denied any such influence.
In response to inquiries about the investigation of a list containing the names of 10 politicians, the Prime Minister reiterated that these names would remain confidential. He stated that the investigation would prioritize examining the behaviors involved, a stance he has consistently communicated.
