Prime Minister Declares War on Emerging Criminal Activities

Bangkok: The Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Anutin Charnvirakul, has announced a stringent crackdown on emerging forms of crime. During a press conference, he emphasized the government's firm stance against illegal activities, declaring that it is fully committed to capturing those orchestrating these crimes.

According to Thai News Agency, Charnvirakul led the press conference alongside administrative officials and partner networks, highlighting the government's proactive measures. They aim to convey to the public that the administration is resolute in its opposition to these illegal activities and will undertake rigorous actions. The strategy involves collaboration, sharing of information, and acting swiftly to outpace criminal groups. The government has identified three primary areas of focus: closing gaps in the registration system to prevent citizenship trafficking and the exploitation of Thai citizens by transnational criminal organizations, dismantling nominee structures, and addressing issues related to illegal firearms and narcotics.
