Bangkok: The Prime Minister extended congratulations to the recipients of the cybersecurity awards, highlighting the significance of Thailand's digital security and the government's commitment to enhancing cybersecurity capabilities for the benefit of the populace.
According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Ratchada Thanadirek, Spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office, announced that prior to the Cabinet meeting, the National Cyber Security Council (NCSC) introduced representatives from various agencies who received the Prime Minister Awards: Thailand Cybersecurity Excellence Awards 2025. These representatives met with Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul, along with Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office, Mr. Paradorn Prisnanantakul; Minister of Digital Economy and Society, Mr. Chaiyanok Chidchob; and Deputy Minister of Digital Economy and Society, Ms. Nan Bunthida Somchai.
The Prime Minister extended his congratulations to all agencies honored with the Thailand Cybersecurity Excellence Awards 2025. This included awardees from the Thailand Cyber Top Talent 2025 competition, the 3rd ASEAN Cyber Shield (ACS) Hacking Contest, the Women Thailand Cyber Top Talent 2025 cyber skills competition, and the cybersecurity product and service competition. A commemorative photo was taken to uplift morale and encourage ongoing dedication to their work, aiming to raise awareness about cybersecurity in Thailand.
The National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) has been organizing these five significant cybersecurity activities to boost the capabilities of personnel, foster a collaborative network involving government agencies, the private sector, and educational institutions, and fortify the country's digital security ecosystem. This initiative aligns with the Cybersecurity Act B.E. 2562 (2019), and the NCSA continues to advance policy in accordance with Prime Minister Anutin's government's approach. This approach focuses on preventing and combating online crime, illegal gambling, fake news, and various forms of fraud against the public.
