Prime Minister Leads Team to Inspect Government Work in Buriram Province

Buriram: The Prime Minister, adorned in the Village Defense Volunteer uniform, spearheaded a team to evaluate government operations in Buriram Province. The visit included providing policy directives to Village Defense Volunteers and observing a demonstration of an emergency response plan focused on rear area protection. The Prime Minister also took the opportunity to meet with officers to offer encouragement and support for their ongoing efforts.

According to Thai News Agency, at 2:00 PM, the Prime Minister, accompanied by the Minister of Interior, Anutin Charnvirakul, and other key officials, departed from Military Airport 2, Wing 6 (B.6), Don Mueang, Bangkok, traveling to Buriram Airport. The objective of the mission was to deliver policy guidance on border security and rear area protection to the Village Security Force (VSF) in Prasat Subdistrict, Ban Kruat District. The Prime Minister, donning the Volunteer Defense Corps (VSF) uniform, participated actively in the proceedings.

Upon reaching Buriram Airport, the Prime Minister and his team utilized Royal Thai Police and Royal Thai Army helicopters to reach Nikhom Prasat Market Municipal Stadium in Prasat Subdistrict, Ban Kruat District. They proceeded to the multipurpose dome at Nikhom Prasat Market Municipality, where they were greeted by the Buriram Governor and Village Defense Volunteers (VDV). The Prime Minister delivered a policy statement, emphasizing the importance of security measures.

Additionally, the Prime Minister and his entourage visited the Self-Sufficiency Village School 1 to witness a demonstration of the rear area protection plan. They engaged with the officers, providing motivation and support for their dedicated service. The Prime Minister’s visit concluded with a return to the 2nd Military Aircraft Base, Wing 6, Don Mueang, Bangkok, at 6:00 p.m.
