Buriram: Reinforcing the bunker with old tires after the BM21 crashed near the Buriram border. Old car tires are being used to reinforce barricades after Cambodia fired a BM-21 missile into a border village in Buriram.
According to Thai News Agency, village security teams in Ban Kruat district, Buriram province, have employed old tires to bolster their bunkers. This measure aims to protect against shrapnel and artillery shells after five BM-21 grenades from Cambodia landed in the village. The village has been subjected to continuous artillery fire, resulting in fallen trees that block roads and damage house roofs.
The security teams have established checkpoints to monitor the movement of individuals entering and leaving the village. This is a preventive measure to stop potential ill-intentioned individuals or spies from infiltrating the area. The village headman has advised villagers, who have volunteered to remain due to concerns about their homes and livestock, to seek refuge in the bunkers and avoid the crash site of the BM21 missile.
