The Royal Decree, issued by His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklao Chao Khun, was announced following the first meeting of the House of Representatives' ordinary session on March 15, 2026. The decree confirmed the appointments based on the successful election results from the session. Under Section 116 of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand, His Majesty the King appointed Mr. Sophon Saram as Speaker, with Ms. Mallika Chiraphanvanich and Mr. Lertsak Pattanachaikul as the First and Second Deputy Speakers, respectively.
