Bangkok: The Royal Thai Air Force Alumni Association hosted a grand celebration to mark its 20th anniversary at the Air Operations Command Building, Royal Thai Air Force Aviation Park. The event, held on February 26, 2026, was presided over by Air Chief Marshal Rawin Thanomsing, representing the Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force. Distinguished attendees included former Commanders-in-Chief, senior Air Force officers, and members of the RTAF Academy's Senior Officer Training Corps classes 1-20, along with network members from various sectors. According to Thai News Agency, the celebration aimed to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Royal Thai Air Force's Student Development Club. The event sought to reinforce love, unity, and relationships among members while enhancing cooperation across all sectors. It also served to publicize the club's mission and its role in public benefit activities, fostering a sense of pride among members and related networks. The event featured various activities, in cluding a seminar on the club's origins, a welcome ceremony for new program participants, and the presentation of souvenirs to retiring members. Honorary prizes were awarded to members contributing to the club's reputation. Notable performances included those by artists Sirintra Niyakorn and Tik Chiro, culminating in a mini-concert by Christina Aguilera, captivating attendees throughout the evening. The Royal Thai Air Force's Student Development Club is metaphorically described as a "big tree," symbolizing its members, unity, friendship, and the benefits it provides to the nation. The celebration marked the largest gathering of Air Force Academy members since the club's inception, leaving lasting impressions and creating cherished memories. Mr. Komol Chiaravanont, President of the Royal Thai Air Force Academy's Student Development Club, alongside the executive committee, played a pivotal role in the success of the event.
