Royal Thai Air Force Assists Hat Yai Flood Victims with Essential Supplies

Bangkok: The Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force led a significant relief effort to aid flood victims in Hat Yai, receiving ready-to-eat food packages and consumer goods from the Volunteer Friends in Need (Por Ror.) Foundation, Thai Red Cross Society.

According to Thai News Agency, Air Chief Marshal Seksan Kantha, alongside Ms. Apisada Kantha and senior Air Force officers, participated in a ceremony on Monday, November 24, 2025. They received 4,000 ready-to-eat meal sets and consumer goods from Mr. Weerasak Kowsurat, Secretary-General of the Friends in Need (Por Ror) Foundation. These supplies were gathered at Squadron 601, Wing 6, for transport by C-130 aircraft to flood victims in Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province.

Today, the Friends in Need (Pha) Foundation of the Thai Red Cross Society dispatched 200 royal relief bags and other consumer goods. The shipment included 16 boxes of hot food, 1,340 boxes of ready-to-eat food, 60 orange volunteer shirts, 3 boxes of rubber gloves for cooking, 197 sets of paper toilets, 30 boxes of rice boxes, and 100 relief bags from the Royal Thai Air Force.

Furthermore, on Thursday, November 27, 2025, the Royal Thai Air Force plans to transport additional relief bags from the Royal Thai Air Force and Siam Commercial Bank Public Company Limited, totaling 1,500 bags, to provide continued assistance to those affected by the floods.
