Kanchanaburi: Sakda Wichiensin, Deputy Minister of the Interior and former Pheu Thai Party MP for Kanchanaburi, has expressed full confidence in winning the upcoming by-election for Kanchanaburi District 4. He has revealed plans for a significant campaign effort led by Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, to support Wisuda Wichiensin on October 12.
According to Thai News Agency, Sakda addressed the by-election scheduled for October 19th, emphasizing the support of Anutin Charnvirakul, who also serves as the leader of the Bhumjaithai Party. Anutin is set to lead party leaders to Kanchanaburi and deliver a major speech in favor of Ms. Wisuda Wichiensin, Sakda’s daughter, who is a candidate in the by-election. This initiative aims to bolster her campaign and counter the challenge posed by the Pheu Thai Party in the area.
Sakda reiterated his 100% confidence in securing victory, attributing this to his consistent efforts and presence in the local area over the years. He emphasized that the outcome would be determined by the people’s judgment of his past performance, which he believes has been positively received by the community. Despite his confidence, he acknowledged that the decision ultimately rests with the electorate’s assessment of his contributions.
