“Senator Pratum” pushes for Clean Beach Act, leading to world-class beach model

Parliament 22 Oct. – ‘Senator Pratum’ Vice Chairman of the Tourism Committee Ready to Push for the Clean Beach Act, Leading the Model Beaches at the World Level

Mrs. Pratum Wongswat, Vice Chairwoman of the Senate Committee on Tourism and Sports, received a letter from representatives of tourists and people in the Pattaya area, led by Mr. Thammasathorn Khuenphet and Mr. Gerry Thomas Rasmus, to provide opinions on developing clean beaches for everyone and solving the problem of beach cleanliness in Pattaya, which affects the quality of life and tourism. There is a large amount of waste, including plastic waste, water bottles, and general waste scattered along the beach and in the sea, spoiling the scenery, reducing the number of tourists, affecting the economy and reputation of Pattaya City, and affecting the marine ecosystem as a whole.
