SET Halts CGH Shares Amidst Acquisition News

Bangkok: The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has temporarily halted trading of Country Group Holdings Public Company Limited (CGH) shares following reports of a potential acquisition involving the company.

According to Thai News Agency, the SET imposed a "H" (halt) mark on CGH shares during the afternoon trading session on June 29, 2026. The halt was prompted by news that the We Bull Group has reached an agreement to acquire Pie Securities Company Limited for an estimated 2.5-3 billion baht. This information is deemed significant as it directly impacts CGH's business operations. Since the SET has not yet received verified details of the transaction, trading of CGH shares was suspended starting at 1:45 PM on the same day. The suspension will remain in place until CGH provides further information or clarification regarding the acquisition.
