Bangkok: Severe flooding has hit Guangdong province after Typhoon Noeul made landfall, with heavy rainfall causing flash floods across several areas. In Puning City, roads have been transformed into waterways, leading to vehicles and belongings being swept away. Authorities have evacuated over 2,000 people from the city as a precautionary measure.

According to Thai News Agency, the storm's influence is expected to persist, bringing more heavy rain and strong winds to Guangdong province, including Hong Kong, until tomorrow. Typhoon Noeul is the strongest of the three typhoons to impact China this month. The severe weather conditions have led to the evacuation of up to 700,000 people across Guangdong province. Neighboring provinces have also issued the highest level of warnings concerning potential flooding and its impact on construction sites, valleys, and bridges.
