SLEEK and ICBCTL Launch ‘SLEEK Green Loan’ to Boost Electric Motorcycle Ownership for Professional Drivers

Bangkok: Opening up opportunities and access to electric vehicles, SLEEK has partnered with ICBCTL to pave the way for professional drivers, increasing their income opportunities by enabling them to own electric motorcycles through special interest loans.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Kantinan Tanvinukul, CEO and co-founder of Sleek EV Co., Ltd., and Mr. Baoquan He, Deputy Managing Director of ICBC Leasing (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (ICBCTL), have initiated the "SLEEK Green Loan" campaign. This initiative is designed to provide financing support and enhance opportunities for drivers seeking to use electric motorcycles for their livelihoods. Offering loan amounts up to 86,900 baht with flexible repayment options, the campaign aims to decrease initial costs and support long-term energy and maintenance cost management, thereby increasing income generation capabilities.

The rising trend in electric vehicles within the commercial transportation sector, alongside an increased consumer focus on environmental issues, has led to a continuous demand growth of over 35% compared to the previous year. In response, SLEEK has developed a solution for drivers requiring vehicles for their profession by offering ownership options for electric motorcycles through the special ICBCTL loan program. This program helps reduce initial costs and supports long-term cost management.

Mr. Kantinan Tanvinukul emphasized the sustainability of transitioning to electric vehicles, stressing the importance of access to suitable vehicles and financing for drivers' professional needs. The SLEEK Green Loan project, in collaboration with ICBC Leasing (Thailand) Co., Ltd., facilitates easier access to vehicle ownership through loans for all SLEEK electric motorcycle models, such as the SLEEK PLAY and TYPE-E. This initiative aims to lower initial capital barriers while supporting long-term cost management. Drivers will also benefit from the S-CHARGE network, which offers convenient refueling and after-sales services, ensuring continuity of use and efficient income generation.

ICBC Leasing (Thailand) Co., Ltd. is facilitating access to electric motorcycles for drivers through loans designed to reduce the initial burden of ownership. The loans offer a maximum amount of 86,900 baht, a repayment period of up to 36 months, and starting installments as low as 3,362 baht per month, or an average of 113 baht per day. This structure allows drivers to plan expenses predictably and manage long-term operating costs effectively. Utilizing the S-CHARGE system further reduces charging downtime, enabling drivers to resume work quickly and manage their time efficiently. Currently, SLEEK operates over 30 S-CHARGE stations nationwide, with plans to expand to 150 by the end of this year and 700 by 2028.

This collaboration underscores SLEEK's dedication to building a comprehensive mobility ecosystem that supports riders not only through the sale of electric motorcycles but also through energy services, after-sales support, and access to appropriate financing. This initiative enables riders to begin their careers confidently and generate income while reducing costs, increasing income opportunities, and supporting sustainable transportation in the future.
