Bangkok: The Cabinet has officially appointed Sorapong Sriyanong as the new Deputy Secretary-General of the National Security Council. Ms. Ayrin Phanrit, Deputy Government Spokesperson, announced after the Cabinet meeting that the appointment was part of the Cabinet’s resolution to fill high-level administrative positions within the Prime Minister’s Office.
According to Thai News Agency, the National Security Council proposed Sorapong Sriyanong for the role, recognizing his experience as a Security Affairs Coordination Advisor and Senior Policy and Planning Analyst at the National Security Council. This appointment aims to fill the vacant position within the Office of the Prime Minister.
