Koh phi phi: A tourist speedboat collided with the fishing vessel Phichai Samut 1 near Koh Phi Phi, resulting in all 55 tourists and crew members on board being rescued safely. The incident occurred as the fishing boat was trawling in the area.

According to Thai News Agency, the Phuket Port In-Out Control Center received a report at 8:45 AM regarding the collision. The center quickly coordinated with the Krabi Maritime Security Center and the Pearl Rescue Center to assist the 55 people involved in the accident.

The collision caused numerous tourists to fall into the water. Nearby boats played a crucial role by helping rescue the tourists before the Marine Police arrived on the scene. All individuals were safely brought ashore and are currently being transported to Chalong Bay Pier in Phuket. The speedboat had initially departed from Phuket port and was heading to Phi Phi Island. Fortunately, there were no fatalities, and the injuries sustained were minor.
