Ulsan: A large structure collapsed at a thermal power plant owned by state-owned energy giant Korea East-West Power in the southeastern city of Ulsan, South Korean officials said Thursday.
According to Thai News Agency, seven people remain trapped under the rubble after two people were rescued from the structure. Firefighters reported that the incident occurred shortly after 2:00 p.m., around noon in Thailand. Images circulating in domestic media showed a large steel structure twisted and collapsed at the power plant.
Authorities are urgently searching for the seven people believed to still be trapped under the rubble. Firefighters in the area were unable to immediately confirm the exact number of missing persons.
