Nonthaburi: Students mourn the death of "Teacher Paew," a mathematics teacher at Thepsirin Nonthaburi School, who was fatally shot by a 14-year-old. They expressed their deep sorrow and disbelief at the tragic event, describing her as a kind teacher and wishing her a peaceful afterlife.
According to Thai News Agency, at Wat Bang Oichang, Bang Kruai District, Nonthaburi Province, a funeral service and Buddhist chanting ceremony were held for Ms. Prapaporn Konsila, or Teacher Paew, 41, a mathematics teacher and victim of a shooting at the school. In addition to family, relatives, and friends, many of her students also attended to pay their respects to Teacher Paew.
Mr. Thanapat Somsri, the husband of Teacher Paew, said that he had been with his wife since 2009, and they have one child together, a son. He is still unable to come to terms with the loss. He learned from a friend who called to inform him of the shooting at the school and has been unable to contact his wife since. He was speechless after learning that the perpetrator was a student. Teacher Paew was a kind and well-liked person.
Students of Teacher Paew said that she was very lovely, friendly, and always tried her best to teach and explain things to the children. They expressed their deep sadness and regret that such a thing had happened. They described her as kind, never strict, and even enjoying having her makeup done by the students. She never had any problems with her students. They are now saddened by the loss of a wonderful teacher and wish her a peaceful afterlife.
