Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University Leads Student Enrollment for 2025

Bangkok: The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) has provided new insights into student enrollment for the upcoming academic year of 2025, highlighting a significant reliance on public universities in Thailand.

According to Thai News Agency, the data shows over 1.87 million students are enrolled in public universities, compared to approximately 339,000 in private universities and over 23,600 in non-affiliated institutions, underscoring the vital role these public institutions play in developing the country’s workforce.

Among the Rajabhat universities, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University stands out with the highest number of students, enrolling 29,526 students. This figure places it well ahead of Phibulsongkram Rajabhat University, which has 15,500 students, and Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University with 15,206 students.

Chiang Mai Rajabhat University follows with 15,125 students, and Surat Thani Rajabhat University has 14,184 students. These numbers reflect the importance of Rajabhat universities in supporting regional education, reducing inequality, and supplying local labor markets with skilled individuals.
