Suchart and Manuphan Appointed to National Anti-Corruption Commission

Bangkok: His Majesty the King has appointed Suchart Suntrikasem and Manuphan Yotsathasean as members of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC). This new development comes following the resignation of Pol. Gen. Watcharapol Prasarnrajkit, who stepped down as Chairman upon reaching the age of 70, and Mrs. Suwanna Suwannajuda, who left her position due to term expiration.

According to Thai News Agency, the appointments were formalized through a Royal Decree, which was published on the Royal Gazette website. The Royal Decree has been countersigned by Mr. Mongkol Surasatcha, President of the Senate, ensuring the legality and immediate effect of the appointments. The announcement of these changes was made on January 17, 2026, signifying a transition in the leadership of the NACC.
