Suphamas Advocates for Efficient Budget Use in Lower Northern Region

Nakhon sawan: Minister to the Prime Minister’s Office, Ms. Supamas Isaraphakdi, visited the 18th Inspection Area to emphasize collaboration in the lower northern region 2 and the optimal use of the budget for public benefit.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Supamas traveled to Nakhon Sawan Province to conduct a policy meeting and evaluate government performance within Inspection Area 18, which includes the provinces of Kamphaeng Phet, Nakhon Sawan, Phichit, and Uthai Thani. The meeting was attended by the governor, deputy governor, government officials, and representatives from local administrative organizations.

Ms. Supamas outlined the government’s focus, under Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, on alleviating public hardships by ensuring effective and comprehensive budget use. She highlighted the importance of directing post-flood relief efforts to genuinely affected areas, relying on real-world data to facilitate a swift and thorough recovery that leaves no one behind.

On local operations, Ms. Supamas highlighted several critical areas requiring joint provincial action. These include reducing expenses while boosting household incomes, supporting community enterprises and local occupations, rebuilding infrastructure post-floods, enhancing disaster management systems, ensuring universal access to clean water and healthcare, and improving transportation infrastructure and digital connectivity for equitable access.

Ms. Supamas concluded that regional success depends on mutual support, appropriate budget usage, and achieving results tangible to residents across the four provinces.

After the meeting, Ms. Supamas visited Village No. 6 to distribute relief bags and inspected the floodgate project in Village No. 4, Yan Matree Subdistrict, Phayuha Khiri District, Nakhon Sawan Province, to assess flood prevention and risk management readiness for future incidents.
