Bangkok: The Prime Minister signed a memorandum of understanding with 14 agencies, declaring war on scammers. At the meeting of the policy committee to increase the country’s competitiveness for targeted industries, the Prime Minister expressed confidence that Thailand can stand on the world stage.
According to Thai News Agency, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Anutin Charnvirakul, presided over the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on cooperation in preventing and suppressing technology-related crimes. The government will continue to crack down on scammers and provide full support, utilizing all modern systems, tools, and mechanisms. Integration of government agencies will be implemented to ensure tangible results. Representatives from each agency emphasized their role in collaborating with the government in suppressing scammers.
Previously, the Prime Minister chaired a meeting of the National Competitiveness Enhancement Policy Committee for Target Industries. The Prime Minister stated that he requested cooperation in driving forward important national missions. Although the government’s agenda is not long-term, he remains confident that a Quick Big Win approach will establish a sustainable economic structure. He emphasized the need to accelerate the development of labor skills, products, and the use of various technologies. He emphasized the need to develop and enhance individual capabilities as much as possible to ensure the country’s position on the international stage.
