Surin Elephant Show Opens with Theme of Loyalty to Thai Royals

Surin: The Surin Elephant Show has officially commenced, celebrating under the theme “A Wonderful Elephant Show of Loyalty, Eternally in the Hearts of Thais.” The opening event marked a successful beginning, drawing both local and international attention.

According to Thai News Agency, the performance started with a grand introduction titled “The King Remains in the Hearts of Thais Forever.” In this segment, an intelligent elephant paid homage to the portrait of Her Majesty the Queen Mother. The act was accompanied by Thai and international actors, as well as tourists, who stood in silence for 93 seconds in a display of respect.

Additionally, the show features an impressive performance named “Prap Pai Ree Laew Hok Khang Krae.” This act has generated excitement by featuring Maj. Gen. Nat Sri-in, the Second Deputy Commander of the Army, who hails from Surin. He plays the role of King Naresuan the Great, which is anticipated to be a highlight of the 2025 Elephant Show.
