The weather in Phitsanulok province is continuing to cool down, especially on the mountaintops at Ban Mai Rong Kla in Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park. This resulted in frost forming in some areas, particularly in front of the To Sia Resort, where a large area of ice crystals covered the grass, amazed tourists experiencing the cold weather.

According to Thai News Agency, Ban Mai Rong Kla, located within Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park, is currently a very popular destination for tourists. During the New Year's holiday, the cherry blossom trees (Prunus cerasoides) are in full bloom, creating a vibrant pink landscape around the village. This has led to Phitsanulok province promoting the village as a "pink village," attracting tourists to admire the cherry blossoms, or "Thai Sakura," on the stunning Phu Lom Lo mountain. As a result, resorts, homestays, and guesthouses are fully booked for the New Year's holiday.
