Teng Criticizes Lack of Accountability Amid Pink Card Controversy

Bangkok: "Teng" is expressing intense frustration as the controversy surrounding the pink card issue and leaked stubs escalates. He openly criticizes the situation, stating, "No one ever takes responsibility for mistakes in this country!"

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Nattapong Ruangpanyawut, leader of the People's Party, highlighted a post by Mr. Thanarat Kuewattanaphan, which included a strong message condemning the actions of authorities. The message criticized the authorities for threatening legal action against citizens and summoning honest officials for questioning, while corrupt officials and mistakes in card issuance go unpunished. The post emphasized the lack of accountability in the country.

Meanwhile, Thanarat Kuewattananpan, CEO of DomeCloud and an expert in blockchain and software, shared a screenshot of a conversation where a polling station official was being questioned at a district office. This interrogation followed the leak of images of a pink ballot and its stub from a specific polling station. He argued that the Election Commission should be held accountable for the ballot paper's design flaws and urged the media to report fairly on the issue. He encouraged officials who face questioning to contact him for legal and media support, promising that they would not be left to fend for themselves.
