Bangkok: General Decha Hemkrasri, President of the Cycling Association of Thailand, has expressed confidence that the Thai national BMX team has a promising chance to win 1-2 medals at the 20th Asian Games in Japan. This optimism is based on ongoing athlete development through the integration of sports science in their training regimen.

According to Thai News Agency, the national cycling team, comprising athletes such as Gomet Sukprasert, Phutthaphum Nakpaen, Chutikarn Kitwanichsathien, and Hathaiphet Chaisawang, successfully reached the final round of the recent Thai National Cycling Championship. This achievement aligns with expectations and highlights the team's preparedness for upcoming challenges.

The Thai BMX team is set to compete in the 2026 Asian Championships in Malaysia, a crucial event that will allow them to test their readiness and earn world ranking points.
