According to Thai News Agency, General Decha Hemkrasri, President of the Cycling Association of Thailand, confirmed that "Ae" Gomet Sukprasert remains a key hope for Thailand in winning a gold medal at the 20th Asian Games in Japan, while Phutthaphum also has the potential to win a medal.
The award for Best BMX Athlete of 2025 went to Phumjaithai Nakpaen and Papada Krongproong for their outstanding performance at the Asian and international levels. Following the conclusion of the Thai National Championships, the Thai BMX team is preparing for the 2026 Asian BMX Championships in Malaysia from August 6-8 to gain world ranking points and prepare for the 2026 Asian Games.
