Moscow:Ms. Sabida Thaiseth, the Minister of Culture of Thailand, attended and delivered the opening remarks at the "Thai Cultural Night in Moscow 2026" on September 22, 2026. The event, held at 5:30 PM local time, was organized by the Royal Thai Embassy in Moscow.

According to Thai News Agency, the event aimed to enhance relations and foster mutual understanding between Thailand and Russia through cultural exchange. It followed the "Russian Seasons 2026" event and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on cultural cooperation between the two nations in February 2026. The gathering also served as preparation for the 130th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Russia in 2027.

The event featured a cultural exchange through music, with the Thai Ministry of Culture presenting a Contemporary Thai Music Ensemble that performed alongside prominent Russian artists, including Igor Butman, the National Artist of the Russian Federation. This collaboration highlighted the unique musical and cultural characteristics of both countries.

Ms. Sabida, wearing a traditional pink Thai Sivalai dress, captivated the attendees, showcasing the elegance of Thai royal attire. The event provided a platform for Thai artists and cultural creators to expand their international presence, potentially attracting more Russian tourists and investors, thereby boosting Thailand's grassroots economy and creating jobs.
