Thai Government Opens Registration for 2027 Hajj Pilgrimage

Bangkok: The government is inviting Thai Muslims to register to perform the Hajj pilgrimage in 2027, with registration open from today until July 31, 2026, assuring them of full support.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Ploytalay Laksmisangchan, Deputy Spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office, announced that the government is preparing to facilitate the Hajj pilgrimage for Thai Muslims in 2027. Each year, many Thai Muslims express interest in performing the Hajj, and the government is committed to supporting this religious pilgrimage, respecting diversity and the freedom of religion according to individual beliefs.

Ms. Ploytalay explained that for this year, the government, through the Department of Provincial Administration, operating as the Secretariat of the Hajj Promotion Committee of Thailand, has opened registration for those wishing to perform the Hajj in 2027 (1448 AH) from June 20 to July 31, 2026. There are currently 103 licensed Hajj operators for the years 2021-2025. Prospective pilgrims can select a Hajj operator and register online via the website of the Hajj Promotion Committee of Thailand. Further details will be provided by the Department of Provincial Administration.

Ms. Ploytalay emphasized the government's commitment to supporting all Thai Muslims interested in performing the Hajj in 2027. She stated that registration can be completed through the online system on the website of the Hajj Promotion Committee of Thailand. She reiterated the government's dedication to caring for all Thai citizens, regardless of race or religion, and assured that the government is ready to provide the best possible facilities for Thai Muslims.
