According to Thai News Agency, Deputy Interior Minister Polpeera Suwannachawi disclosed that the OTOP Midyear 2026 event garnered an overwhelmingly positive response, surpassing all expectations. The current sales figures from the event have reached approximately 700 million baht. The "Thai Helps Thai Plus" initiative has played a crucial role in enhancing consumer spending, even amidst an economic downturn.

Businesses that were not part of the initiative also managed to draw significant public interest, indicating a favorable reception for this year's event. The participating shops were selected based on products rated 3 stars or higher, offering entrepreneurs nationwide an opportunity to market high-quality products and boost their income.
