Thai Men’s Baseball Team Secures Third Consecutive Victory Against Indonesia in SEA Games

Bangkok: The Thai men’s baseball team continued their impressive performance by defeating Indonesia 10-1, marking their third consecutive victory in the 33rd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games. This triumph further solidifies their standing in the competition, which is taking place at the Queen Sirikit 60th Birthday Stadium in the Thanyaburi District.

According to Thai News Agency, the Thai team had already showcased their prowess by defeating Vietnam with a score of 16-0 and Laos with a 12-1 victory in previous matches. Indonesia, on the other hand, had experienced mixed results, securing a 10-0 win against Malaysia but suffering a significant 0-14 loss to the Philippines.

The recent match was graced by the presence of Dr. Kongsak Yodmanee, Governor of the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT), who was there to support the athletes and oversee the event. The Thai team’s consistent performance has been a highlight of the games, as they emerged victorious in nine innings against Indonesia.

Looking ahead, the Thai national team is set to face Singapore in their fourth match on December 9, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the same stadium. The men’s baseball competition at the 33rd SEA Games features seven nations competing in a round-robin format. The top two teams will progress to the gold medal round, while the teams finishing third and fourth will compete for the bronze medal.
