Los Angeles:Thai performer Nene delivered an electrifying rocker-style performance in the finals of America's Got Talent, captivating the audience with her musical prowess. She took the stage with a guest drummer, earning accolades from the show's judging panel.
According to Thai News Agency, Nene shared in an introductory video that her musical journey began at age seven when she started guitar lessons after a computer class was full. This led her to choose the guitar as her instrument.
For her final act, Nene performed an innovative cover of The White Stripes' 2003 hit "Seven Nation Army." Her rendition included self-arranged vocals, an original solo section, and heavy rock elements, which resonated well with the audience.
The performance received a standing ovation from both the audience and judges. Panelists Mel B, Sofa Vergara, KSI, and Howie Mandel praised her stage presence and musical style, with Mandel urging viewers to cast their votes for her.
Nene is among the 10 finalists vying for the title, competing against acts ranging from dancers and acrobats to a 14-year-old singer, Lai Noelle. Voting remains open after the final performances, with the winner set to be announced during the results show on Wednesday evening, September 23 (8:00 a.m. Thursday, September 24, Thailand time).
