Thailand 100% Ready for 33rd SEA Games with Grand Opening and BamBam Performance

Bangkok: Thailand is fully prepared to host the 33rd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games, which will commence with a grand opening ceremony on December 9, 2025. “BamBam,” a renowned Thai artist, is set to perform at the event. The government is encouraging the public to reserve free tickets for the ceremony through the official website, www.seagames2025.org.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Ayrin Phanrit, Deputy Government Spokesperson, announced that Thailand is completely ready to host the Games. The Ministry of Tourism and Sports, in cooperation with various government-assigned agencies, is finalizing preparations for the event scheduled from December 9-20, 2025. The Games will feature 50 sports, with a total of 574 gold medals up for grabs, including three demonstration sports and one value-added sport. The event will be broadcast live on an unprecedented scale, with the National Broadcasting Services of Thailand (NBT) serving as the main broadcaster.

Ms. Ayrin also shared that Mr. Kanpimuk Bhuwakul, popularly known as “BamBam,” will be performing at the opening ceremony at Rajamangala National Stadium. Several other Thai artists will join BamBam for the performance, promising an exciting surprise for the Thai audience. The Sports Authority of Thailand is providing the public with an opportunity to reserve free tickets for the opening ceremony through the official website www.seagames2025.org.
