Bangkok: The Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC) is offering a series of special promotions and financial services at the 16th Thailand Smart Money Bangkok event. Mr. Paisarn Hongthong, the bank’s Deputy Managing Director, shared that these offerings are designed to align with the theme “Essence of Agriculture” and include the Emerald Glass Savings Deposit products. These products allow deposits starting from 2,000 baht, which come with interest returns and accident insurance benefits up to 25 times the remaining deposit balance, with a maximum coverage limit of 10 million baht. Additional benefits are available for deposits of 6,000 baht or more when the balance is maintained for three months.
According to Thai News Agency, customers who pair a deposit of BAAC Khun Phaen Morakot savings bonds starting at 4,000 baht, or an Emerald deposit starting at 10,000 baht, and maintain the balance for three months, will receive a Mang Maew keychain immediately. Depositors of 200,000 to 499,999 baht will be entitled to dip for 1 Mang Maew Art Toy, while those depositing 500,000 to 999,999 baht can dip for 1 Agri Animal Art Toy. For deposits of 1,000,000 baht or more, 1 Secret Agri Animal Art Toy is offered. Additionally, depositing 20,000 baht or more and maintaining it for three months, alongside applying for an insured debit card, entitles customers to a BAAC Mangkorn Yuk savings bond worth 100 baht.
The BAAC Khun Phaen Morakot savings bonds, priced at 2,000 baht per unit, offer a monthly chance to win prizes totaling over 72 million baht. After a 2-year deposit period, immediate interest of 19 baht per unit is provided. Depositing 1,000 units or more guarantees a win in each draw. The BAAC Mangkorn Yut savings bonds, at 100 baht per unit, also offer monthly returns and prize-winning opportunities. Customers depositing 1,000,000 baht or more in these savings bonds are entitled to a dipping session for the AGRI ANIMAL Art Toy. The event also features a first-time launch of the Secret Art Toy.
The BAAC is also offering a life insurance deposit product with protection and tax deduction benefits. Promotions include free gifts like travel bags and a mother-child travel bag set. Loan products are also available, such as a 100,000 baht express loan for Village Health Volunteers, offering a 0.50% monthly interest rate. Housing loans up to 5 million baht are available for government officials and employees, with a special interest rate of 2.99% per year for the first five years. The Kasetvivat Loan supports retired personnel in agriculture, offering an interest rate of MRR – 2% per year for the first five years.
In addition to financial services, BAAC is showcasing over 70 premium agricultural products from farmer customers. Products include ready-to-eat rice and rice seasoning powder from various provinces, as well as Suan Pathumthip Jelly made from 100% real fruit. Additionally, the BAAC Memories Wall will be displayed, featuring savings banks from past to present. Visitors can capture souvenir photos and participate in booth activities to receive exclusive souvenirs at the BAAC booth, located at BCC Hall, 5th floor, Central Ladprao Shopping Center, Bangkok, from December 5-7.
