Thailand to Host World Senior Football Championship in Ubon Ratchathani

Ubon ratchathani: Thailand is set to host the World Senior Football Championship from June 1-6 in Ubon Ratchathani. Associate Professor Dr. Weerasak Wisalaporn, President of the National Sports University (NSU), alongside Mr. Theppitak Chansuthep, President of the Thai Senior Football Association, announced preparations for the 18th Seniors World Cup, which will take place at the Ubon Ratchathani Provincial Stadium.

According to Thai News Agency, the National Sports University is committed to providing support and sponsorship for the event, including personnel and facilities from the Ubon Ratchathani Provincial Sports School. The championship aims to promote sports and tourism, contributing to the country's economy. Eight countries have confirmed their participation in this senior football championship: England, the defending champion, France, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, Vietnam, the United States, and Thailand.
